Hop Protocol has claimed a grant from the Arbitrum Layer Two Incentive Program (LTIPP). For the next 12 weeks, users can stake their Ethereum (ETH), DAI, and USDT liquidity provider tokens on the Arbitrum network to earn Arbitrum (ARB) tokens as rewards. Additionally, Hop users sending funds to Arbitrum will receive an 80% refund on their total onboarding fees during this period. This integration aims to promote the adoption of Layer 2 scaling solutions and foster collaboration between the Arbitrum and Hop communities.

Hop's proposal for a long-term incentive plan has been approved by the Arbitrum governance process. The proposal allocates 500,000 ARB tokens to be used for enhancing and expanding the Arbitrum ecosystem through Hop's initiatives. This development is seen as a significant step in fostering the growth of the Arbitrum Layer-2 network and its associated projects.

Gnosis Chain, a layer-2 scaling solution, has announced a reduction in bonder fees for transferring DAI cryptocurrency into and out of its network. The new lower fees aim to provide users with an even more cost-effective experience when utilizing the Gnosis Chain. Additionally, the platform hints at the possibility of slippage occasionally working in favor of users. Gnosis Chain positions itself as a community of layer-2 pioneers, inviting users to join and explore its cross-chain capabilities.

The USDC bridge upgrade on Hop is now complete. USDC transfers now use Circle's CCTP, allowing users to send and receive native USDC on all supported chains. Happy hopping! :rabbit:

AMM incentives on the USDC bridge will end on Wednesday, followed by the use of CCTP on some Hop USDC routes. By March 20th, all USDC routes will bypass the AMM. The upgrade aims for cheaper transfers, native USDC on all supported chains, no slippage, and easier migration to Hop V2.

Bonder fee for DAI transfers into Gnosis Chain on Hop has been cut in half again, resulting in a 75% reduction in fees compared to a few weeks ago. Happy Hopping! :rabbit:

The minimum fee for transferring DAI into Gnosis Chain has been reduced further for a limited time. This is currently the most cost-effective method to move DAI onto Gnosis Chain.

The Hop community has announced the launch of the HOP and ETH bridges on Polygon zkEVM. Users can now experience seamless and trustless bridging across the entire Polygon ecosystem with unprecedented speed and cost-efficiency. Additionally, AMM incentives on the ETH bridge are now live, providing users with opportunities to dive into DeFi. This is one of the last new chains that Hop V1 will support before the release of Hop V2.
