The 2024 VeeFriends Trading Card Game Championship Tournament in NYC featured 64 competitors from 4 countries.​ SaugyWaffles emerged victorious over Ron Jordan in the finals.​ The tournament used Swiss rounds, requiring 3/5 wins to advance.​ The champion will receive a pure gold Perfect Persian Cat trophy card, while all participants get silver versions.​ At NYCC, VeeFriends also launched partnerships with Topps (trading cards) and Funko (limited POP! figure), with both exclusive items selling out quickly.​ The event drew over 200,000 attendees.​
