Tydro v2 adds Bitcoin borrowing at fixed overnight rates
Tydro v2 has been extended to Bitcoin borrowing on the Ink network, letting users borrow at an overnight fixed rate that doesn't move with the market or expire, while BTC remains in qualified custody. This builds on the v2 release that refocused Optimism's credit tooling on institutional borrowers with predictable rates, isolated markets, custody, and collateral-specific risk.
- Institutional-grade credit product rather than retail-facing
- The launch coincided with strong demand for PT-USDG on X Layer by OKX, which saw $22M in three days as capital-efficient yield moves onchain
