SushiSwap Strategic Reserve and Buyback Program approved
The SushiSwap community has approved the Sushi Strategic Reserve + Revised Buyback Program in two rounds of voting. Starting September 7th, the protocol makes weekly SUSHI purchases into the Strategic Reserve, and beginning October 1st, monthly xSUSHI buybacks go live.

- Weekly buyback #2 is now complete: 9,144 SUSHI was purchased and added to the Strategic Reserve at an average price of $0.22, bringing total SUSHI acquired to date to 18,364.
- Buybacks are funded by 4% of protocol fees and perp fee revenues.
