Satoshi Relics introduces a unique approach to Bitcoin-based art by generating 1/1 Ordinals directly from historical Bitcoin transactions. The platform transforms real blockchain data into digital artifacts, including:

  • Ordinals created from the first Spells of Genesis SATOSHICARD transaction
  • Art pieces generated from Hal Finney's first Bitcoin transaction
  • Unique works that reflect transaction age and gain digital patina over time

The project aims to preserve Bitcoin's history through artistic representation, with each piece being completely unique and derived from actual on-chain data.

Hal is a legend 🧡 One of the few who knew how deep this all goes... How about this Satoshi Relic generated from Hal's first transaction on Bitcoin—an ordinal that captures his story on the network.

This Ordinal was generated from the transaction that issued the first-ever Spells of Genesis SATOSHICARD—exactly 10 years ago today. An artifact from the earliest days of Bitcoin art. A true relic of onchain history.

Fully agree. No better time to build than now. At @pob_studio, we're building everyday: 1/1 ordinals generated from Bitcoin transactions. Something new. Something only possible for a matter of months. Bitcoin is the canvas. Be part of the celebration. Let's get shit done. 🟧

Instead of complaining that we need to change this, we need to change that for the Runes and Ordinals ecosystem to flourish, just fucking build it. We need more builders and less complainers. Many builders are working hard to improve the space. Show some support instead of trying

Art on #Bitcoin is changing the game! 🎨⚡️ By inscribing digital art directly onto the blockchain via Ordinals, artists create verifiable, immutable masterpieces. No middlemen, no censorship—just pure ownership and scarcity backed by the most secure network ever. This isn’t just

Why store art on Bitcoin? We like to believe this is how Satoshi would have it. The very first transaction carried a message— a timestamp, a protest, an inscription. He led the way. Satoshi Relics follows in that tradition—preserving Bitcoin’s story, one artifact at a time.

Our work has matured tremendously over the years 😌 From Hash to Hiraeth to Satoshi Relics, each step has taught us something new about making meaningful onchain art. Now, we're nearly done refining our most advanced work yet—Ordinals on Bitcoin 🟧 Notice anything? gn.

Digital Artifacts: Beyond JPEGs on the Blockchain

Digital artworks on blockchain networks are evolving beyond simple JPEG files into permanent digital artifacts. While high-resolution artwork storage on Bitcoin comes at a premium, these pieces represent more than just images - they are immutable records of blockchain history. Key aspects: - Permanent storage on blockchain - Higher value proposition than standard image files - Transaction-based artistic elements - Historical significance in digital form Each piece captures a moment in blockchain history, transforming technical data into visual art. This represents a shift from viewing blockchain art as mere images to understanding them as historical artifacts.
