Polygon Joins Mastercard's Agent Pay for Machines Initiative

Polygon Joins Mastercard's Agent Pay for Machines Initiative

Polygon has partnered with **Mastercard's Agent Pay for Machines** program to enable AI agents to conduct autonomous transactions. **Key developments:** - The initiative establishes standardized protocols for agent-to-agent commerce - Polygon provides **always-on settlement infrastructure** for machine-speed payments - Agent Pay supports multiple payment methods including cards, bank accounts, and stablecoins - The collaboration aims to accelerate adoption of autonomous AI commerce This partnership addresses a critical infrastructure gap as AI agents increasingly need to execute financial transactions independently without human intervention.

Polygon Introduces Smart Sessions for Frictionless Recurring Crypto Payments

Polygon Introduces Smart Sessions for Frictionless Recurring Crypto Payments

**One approval, unlimited transactions** Polygon's Open Money Stack now supports smart sessions, eliminating the need for repeated wallet signatures on recurring payments. **The friction problem:** - Traditional crypto payments require a signature for every transaction - Each additional prompt reduces customer conversion - This works for one-time purchases but breaks subscription models **The solution:** Smart sessions allow users to approve once, then process subscriptions, payouts, and checkouts automatically without additional prompts. **How it works:** Built into the wallet layer of Polygon's Open Money Stack, smart sessions maintain non-custodial security while enabling seamless recurring transactions. This complements Polygon's intent-based payment routing, which already handles cross-chain transfers invisibly to users. Polymarket Launches Unified Prediction Market Feed on Polygon

A new aggregated feed for prediction markets is launching on Polygon, with a waitlist now open for early access. **Key Details:** - Single interface to discover and access multiple prediction markets - Built on Polygon network for lower transaction costs - Waitlist currently accepting sign-ups This follows Polymarket's recent partnership as the official prediction market of the UFC, also powered by Polygon. The platform continues expanding its onchain betting infrastructure, consolidating various prediction markets into one accessible feed.

Toku Launches Stablecoin Payroll for Global Teams on Polygon

**Toku has launched stablecoin payroll services**, enabling companies to pay their global workforce in dollars with instant settlement. **Key features:** - Payments land instantly for team members - Funds earn yield while sitting in accounts - Settlement powered by Polygon network - Available to contractors and employees across 100 countries - Payments arrive within seconds This service addresses common pain points in international payroll, including slow transfer times and currency conversion issues. By leveraging stablecoins and Polygon's infrastructure, Toku offers a faster, more efficient alternative to traditional cross-border payment methods. The platform combines the stability of dollar-denominated payments with the speed and efficiency of blockchain technology.

Autonomous AI Payments Launch on Polygon Network

Polygon has integrated autonomous AI payment capabilities through a partnership with aifinpay, marking a practical step forward in automated blockchain transactions. **Key Development:** - AI-powered payment system now operational on Polygon network - Builds on Polygon's previous commitment to AI integration announced at Open AGI Summit - Enables automated transaction processing without manual intervention **Technical Implementation:** The aifinpay integration allows artificial intelligence systems to initiate and complete payments independently on Polygon's infrastructure. This represents a shift toward machine-to-machine financial interactions on blockchain networks. **Background Context:** Polygon previously sponsored the Open AGI Summit in Cannes, where they discussed how AI could increase payment velocity across their network. This launch delivers on that vision with a working product. Learn more about [aifinpay](https://twitter.com/aifinpay)
