Pix payments go live on EtherFi app for Android
EtherFi has launched support for Pix, Brazil's instant payment system, on its Android app. Users can send and receive payments without leaving the app — scanning a QR code or entering a Pix key to send, and sharing a QR code or setting an amount to receive.
The rollout adds a local payment rail for Brazilian users of the EtherFi Cash account, alongside the card's existing on- and off-ramp options. The announcement also points users to a referral code program.
