The Loot community has published "Loot (for Adventurers)", a 578-page fantasy anthology featuring 48 stories from 23 authors.

Key Details:

  • Released July 27th at 10am EST
  • Built entirely by the Loot community over five years
  • Available in softcover and hardcover, with special hand-bound leather editions
  • Public domain work - created by all, owned by none

What started as a simple list of words in a smart contract has evolved into a shared fantasy world. The anthology brings together stories from various Loot sub-communities including Realms, Banners, Explorers, and Heroes.

The project represents a unique experiment in collaborative worldbuilding, where thousands of strangers filled the blank space left by the original Loot NFT with entire fictional universes.

Beyond the print run in soft and hardcover, a few copies are being bound by hand. Special editions for the contributing authors and others are being commissioned from rebinding artists who work in leather and thread to bring Loot to life as the spellbinding book it deserves.
