Artist William Mapan is presenting **Dances on Shadows (DOS)**, a live plotter series at Art Basel's Zero 10 booth (Z13) from June 16-21, 2026. **What's happening:** - DOS extends Mapan's *Paysages Plausibles* series, revealing hidden structures through plotter-rendered contours and repetition - Visitors can explore the generative system on-site, select iterations, and watch them rendered in real-time by machine plotters - The exhibition includes hand-painted oil works, plotter drawings, and a live generator **The concept:** While *Paysages Plausibles* constructs speculative territories using overlapping shapes and natural pigments, DOS traces the "movements, traces, and residual energies" within those landscapes.
