The Threshold Network community announces the minting of 520 million T tokens following the approval of TIP-053 and TIP-062. The minting will fulfill staking rewards for a year and provide a bonus to dedicated TACo stakers. Temporary funds have been injected into the claimable rewards contract to address recent issues with claiming rewards. Voting for the mint proposal can be done on Boardroom.

This monthly reward distribution follows the previous month's pattern, maintaining consistency in the staking ecosystem.
tBTC Direct Minting Goes Live on Arbitrum
Threshold Network has launched direct minting of tBTC on Arbitrum, offering a seamless way to leverage Bitcoin in Ethereum's Layer 2 ecosystem. Key features include: - Native minting on Arbitrum without Ethereum L1 transactions - Innovative UI upgrades - User-friendly experience Incentives program in partnership with Arbitrum: - 20,000 ARB + $45k in T for tBTC on GMX - 50,000 ARB + 25% in T for long-term liquidity providers - Ongoing incentives for Curve and Uniswap pools This launch marks a significant achievement for Threshold DAO's internal dev team.
