The Scroll community has identified and fixed the errors that were preventing eligible community members from claiming their unique Scroll Origins NFTs. A new smart contract has been deployed to allow affected users to mint their NFTs. Eligible participants need to submit their Ethereum addresses through a Tally form and wait for 5-7 business days. They can then connect their wallet to the Scroll Origins landing page and mint their NFTs. If any errors occur during the process, users can reach out to support moderators for assistance.

Scroll DAO 2.0 Launches New Governance Framework After Community Vote

Scroll community has approved a major governance overhaul, introducing **Scroll DAO 2.0**. The update establishes a new operating model focused on three key areas: - **Enhanced delegation quality** for better representation - **Stronger execution capacity** for implementing decisions - **Measurable ecosystem outcomes** for tracking progress The framework was developed through month-long discussions with delegates and ecosystem contributors. Starting this week, the DAO will engage with the Foundation on ecosystem growth strategies, including efforts to attract more users and support key initiatives like @usxcapital. Ongoing governance discussions continue on the [Scroll Forum](https://forum.scroll.io/).

Scroll DAO Introduces Three New Proposal Categories for Delegates

Scroll DAO has expanded proposal submission capabilities for delegates across three distinct allocation categories: - **Community Allocation** - Supporting community-driven initiatives - **Ecosystem Allocation** - Funding ecosystem development projects - **Discretionary Allocation** - Flexible funding for strategic opportunities This update is part of a broader operating model developed collaboratively with delegates and ecosystem contributors. The new framework aims to strengthen delegation quality, improve execution capacity, and deliver measurable ecosystem outcomes. Delegates can now submit proposals directly under these categories, streamlining the governance process and enabling more targeted resource allocation across the Scroll ecosystem.

Scroll DAO Refines Delegate Incentives and Governance Structure

Scroll DAO is actively working on improving its governance framework through two main initiatives: **Delegate Incentive Programs** - Ongoing discussions about Governance Contribution Recognition (GCR) for current and future cycles - Improvements being made to the Delegate Contribution Program (DCP) **Governance Structure Updates** - Strengthened Verified Delegate role with clearer responsibilities - New execution-oriented committee structure - Formal DAO budget and treasury framework - Clear separation between execution and oversight functions These changes aim to create a more structured and efficient governance system that better rewards active participation while maintaining accountability.

DAO Framework Moves from Planning to Execution Phase

A DAO has transitioned from governance design to active implementation following the approval of its new operational framework. **Key structural changes:** - Strengthened Verified Delegate role with clearer responsibilities - New execution-focused committee structure - Formal budget and treasury management framework - Defined separation between execution and oversight functions **Current implementation focus:** Delegates and committees are now working on practical setup, including: - Multisig wallet configuration - Treasury infrastructure deployment - Establishing funding flows for ongoing operations The swift move to execution suggests strong alignment among stakeholders on the governance model.

Scroll DAO Activates New Governance Framework with Appointed Committees

Scroll DAO's governance overhaul is now operational following January's approval. **Key Changes:** - New governance framework officially implemented for 2026 - Operations and Accountability Committees appointed for initial 6-month terms - Focus on execution efficiency and clear responsibility distribution The committees will serve as the operational backbone during this transition period, ensuring the DAO maintains momentum while establishing new processes. This follows the comprehensive governance plan released in January, which detailed the structure, incentive mechanisms, and decision-making protocols. The 6-month term allows for evaluation and adjustment before permanent structures are finalized.
