Significant progress reported on Ethereum scaling solutions that maintain decentralization principles. Key developments include:
- Sharded mempool scheme partially implemented in both Geth and Reth clients
- Development network (Devnet) partnership with Sunnyside Labs in progress
- Research collaboration with Ethereum Foundation focusing on:
- Sharded mempools
- Ephemeral blobs
- P2P propagation improvements
The approach aims to enhance throughput while preserving network self-sovereignty. This contrasts with hardware-intensive scaling solutions that could limit network participation to larger entities.
What if @Ethereum could scale without sacrificing decentralisation? Leo unveils our research with the EF Foundation on a future of sharded mempools, ephemeral blobs, and p2p propagation, preserving self-sovereignty while unlocking massive throughput. youtube.com/watch?v=wVCZ8M…
We came to @protocol_berg to share our work on scaling the world computer - without compromising decentralisation. Our sharded mempool scheme is already partially implemented in Geth and Reth. A Devnet with Sunnyside Labs is on the way. It's all coming together.
