ether.fi Cash credit backend moves to dedicated Aave V4 on OP Mainnet
The credit backend behind 70K+ ether.fi Cash cardholders is moving to a dedicated Aave V4 instance on OP Mainnet. Cardholders can now borrow against PAXG from Paxos, SPYx from XStocksFi, WBTC, ETH, and ETHFI without selling, with more collateral types expected as the integration expands.
The update coincides with the next generation of the ether.fi crypto neobank app, adding tokenized stocks and metals trading plus an integrated Aave market on Optimism that allows borrowing against a full portfolio.
