DTCC Processes First Production Trades of Tokenized US Securities with Chainlink
🏦 Wall Street Goes Onchain

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has completed its first live production trades using tokenized US securities, powered by Chainlink infrastructure. The milestone involved over 30 major financial institutions including JPMorgan, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and CME Group.
Key transactions executed:
- JPMorgan posted tokenized stock as collateral for CME Group margin requirements
- Collateral pledge and security lending operations
- US Treasury/repo delivery-versus-payment trades
- Equity DVP and DVD trades
- Central counterparty margin workflows
The DTCC converted assets held at the Depository Trust Company into tokenized assets, with Chainlink's Runtime Environment enabling the collateral workflows. This follows the DTC receiving SEC authorization seven months ago to operate a tokenization service for real-world assets under its custody.
The production trades set the foundation for the official launch of the DTCC Collateral AppChain later this year, which will enable 24/7 near real-time collateral management across financial markets and blockchains.
With DTCC processing quadrillions annually as critical infrastructure for US securities markets, this represents a significant step toward mainstream tokenization in traditional finance.
Today, Chainlink orchestrated a live production trade where @jpmorgan posted tokenized stock as collateral to satisfy margin requirements with @CMEGroup. Chainlink is bringing real-world utility to tokenized securities for DTCC and the world’s largest institutions.

DTCC successfully processed production trades using DTC-custodied tokenized assets in a live tokenized environment, marking a major milestone for digital markets ahead of the DTCC Tokenization Service launch later this year. Read more: dtcc.com/news/2026/july…
In the production transactions, DTCC converted assets held at the DTC into tokenized assets with Chainlink powering collateral workflows. Several transactions across various asset classes were executed in a live environment, including: • Collateral pledge • Security lending
This builds upon DTCC’s integration of Chainlink into its Collateral AppChain. With the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) & data standard, DTCC is advancing 24/7 near real-time collateral management across financial markets & blockchains. x.com/The_DTCC/statu…
Today we announced progress toward our goal of advancing 24/7 collateral mobility. DTCC’s Collateral AppChain, a shared infrastructure platform for collateral, will leverage the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) and @chainlink data standard to enable near real-time collateral
DTCC Launches Live Tokenized Asset Trading Platform
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has officially launched its tokenization platform, marking a significant milestone in traditional finance's adoption of blockchain technology. **Key Developments:** - DTCC has moved from pilot phase to live tokenized asset trading - The platform aims to enhance liquidity, transparency, and efficiency in financial markets - This follows their May announcement of plans to begin live trades in July with a full October rollout **What This Means:** The launch represents a major step in bridging traditional finance with blockchain infrastructure. Aave Adopts Chainlink CCIP for Cross-Chain Security in New Mobile App
**Aave**, DeFi's largest lending protocol, has selected **Chainlink CCIP** as the cross-chain infrastructure for its upcoming mobile application. The decision follows a comprehensive evaluation by LlamaRisk, which updated Aave's Risk Framework. In their assessment, **CCIP achieved the highest score** for cross-chain security among competing solutions. **Key advantages:** - Introduces no new trust assumptions to Aave's security model - Provides robust cross-chain messaging capabilities - Enables secure asset transfers across multiple blockchains This integration marks a significant milestone for both protocols, as Aave expands its accessibility through mobile while maintaining its security-first approach. The partnership demonstrates the growing importance of reliable cross-chain infrastructure in DeFi's evolution. Chainlink Expands Across 8 New Integrations Including Aave and Mantle

Chainlink reported 8 new integrations across 4 services and 4 different chains. Notable adopters include: - **Aave** - Leading DeFi lending protocol - **Commertize** - Commerce platform - **Mantle** - Layer-2 scaling solution - **Poppie Finance** - DeFi application - **Yuzu Money** - Financial protocol This follows recent major adoption by Robinhood Chain, which integrated Chainlink's CCIP for cross-chain connectivity and Data Streams for pricing tokenized equities like GOOG, AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, and AMZN. The integrations demonstrate continued expansion of Chainlink's oracle infrastructure across multiple blockchain networks and use cases.
Commertize Migrates to Chainlink CCIP for Cross-Chain Infrastructure

Tokenization platform Commertize has deprecated its legacy bridging solution and migrated to Chainlink CCIP as its official cross-chain infrastructure. **Key Details:** - Commertize is leveraging CCIP and the Chainlink data standard - The migration aims to establish institutional-grade security for global scale operations - This follows a similar move by Pleasing Market, which adopted CCIP for distributing tokenized precious metals The shift represents a broader trend of tokenization platforms choosing CCIP for enhanced security in cross-chain operations.
