CoW Protocol Launches Atomic Bundles for Multi-Step DeFi Workflows
CoW Protocol Launches Atomic Bundles for Multi-Step DeFi Workflows
🐮 Intents just leveled up

CoW Protocol has introduced Atomic Bundles, a reusable smart contract template enabling developers to execute complex, multi-step DeFi operations atomically in a single settlement.
Key capabilities include:
- Loop-borrow-redeposit strategies
- Repay debt with collateral
- Flashloan-enabled executions
- Atomic open/close flows for perpetuals
- Multi-step payment and treasury operations
All executions maintain CoW Protocol's core features: solver competition, MEV protection, and surplus generation.
For builders, Atomic Bundles simplify development across lending (one-click looping, collateral swaps), perpetuals (atomic open/close flows), and payments (multi-step flows with zero mid-execution risk).
Previously, developers needed to write custom wrapper contracts from scratch for each use case. Now they can fork the template, add their logic, and plug into CoW Protocol's solver network.

xStocks x @CoWSwap xStocks are live on BNB Chain through CoW Protocol settlement layer, enabling trading of dozens of tokenized stocks and ETFs with market-deep liquidity 24/5 through xChange. Capital markets, onchain, with the best execution.
xStocks are live on @BNBCHAIN. Over 50 tokenized stocks and ETFs now accessible on one of the largest and most active blockchain ecosystems in the world, with more than 100 to follow in the coming weeks.
Atomic bundles are great for builders focused on: 🏦 Lending → one-click looping, collateral swaps 📈 Perps → atomic open/close flows 💸 Payments → multi-step flows, zero mid-execution risk Faster path to production. Superior intent-based UX.
Before today, devs wanting enforceable, multi-step DeFi workflows had to write custom wrapper contracts from scratch. New use case? Start again. Atomic Bundles changes that. Fork the template. Add your logic. Plug into CoW Protocol's solver network. docs.cow.fi/cow-protocol/r…
Atomic Bundles cement CoW Protocol's status as the execution standard for advanced DeFi intent flows. Atomic, composable, multi-step workflows are now possible on the most user-protective execution layer in DeFi. Read more here: cow.fi/learn/intents-… 🐮
CoW Protocol routes trades through a network of solvers competing to find the best available price, protecting users from MEV and delivering optimal execution on every trade. That infrastructure now extends to tokenized equities on @BNBCHAIN.
With Atomic Bundles, CoW Protocol solvers can execute a much wider range of DeFi actions than ever before – atomically, in a single settlement: → Loop-borrow-redeposit strategies → Repay debt with collateral → Flashloan-enabled executions → Atomic open/close flows for perps
Intents just got a major upgrade. 🐮🧵 Introducing Atomic Bundles – a reusable smart contract template that lets developers bundle complex DeFi actions atomically. Looping. Repay-with-collateral. Flashloan strategies. And more. All atomic. All intent-based.
CoW Protocol Hooks Face Enforceability Challenges
CoW Protocol's existing **CoW Hooks** feature allows users to attach pre- and post-swap actions to orders, enabling workflows like: - Depositing into lending protocols after swaps - Claiming rewards before trades execute - Bundling DeFi actions with token swaps However, the protocol acknowledges a limitation: **CoW Hooks aren't always enforceable**, and certain workflows require atomicity to function properly. The hooks feature is currently live in beta, with community developers building integrations like the Morpho vault hook (available on Mainnet and Base). Users can enable hooks through the swap interface at [swap.cow.fi](https://swap.cow.fi). cbMEGA Launches on Base with Coinbase-Backed Security
**cbMEGA is now live on Base**, bringing MegaETH's ecosystem to the Layer 2 network. **Key features:** - Coinbase-wrapped asset providing security backing for every token - Direct integration with Rainbow wallet for sending, receiving, and holding - MEV protection available through CoW Swap - Eliminates traditional bridging friction for accessing MegaETH ecosystem The launch enables MEGA holders to operate fully onchain on Base with institutional-grade security. Users can manage cbMEGA directly through Rainbow wallet or trade with MEV protection via CoW Swap.
CoW Protocol Clarifies Rollout Timeline: Hidden Bids Live, UCP Removal Coming Later
**CoW Protocol issued a correction** regarding recent protocol updates: - **Hidden bids for solver competition are now live** - this change is already implemented - **UCP (Uniform Clearing Price) removal has not shipped yet** - contrary to earlier communications - **UCP sunset is planned for later this quarter** - the timeline has been pushed back The UCP mechanism was described as a legacy constraint that added complexity without providing additional user benefits. Its removal is expected to simplify solver logic and allow more efficient winner selection. The team acknowledged getting "a bit ahead of ourselves" in their previous communications about the rollout timeline.
CoW Swap Reaches $200 Billion in Trading Volume After Five Years

CoW Swap has processed $200 billion in trading volume since launching five years ago. The decentralized exchange, which routes trades across multiple platforms to find optimal prices, has grown from $115 billion in volume just nine months prior. **Key milestone:** - $200 billion total trading volume - Five years of operation - Growth from $115B to $200B in under a year CoW Protocol differentiates itself by aggregating liquidity across exchanges like Uniswap and 1inch while providing MEV (maximal extractable value) protection for traders.
