Coinbase cbBTC expands to Robinhood via Chainlink CCIP

Coinbase's cbBTC is expanding to Robinhood Crypto, powered by Chainlink CCIP as its exclusive cross-chain infrastructure. Connecting cbBTC to Robinhood Chain gives ecosystem builders access to a Bitcoin-backed asset with over $7.5 billion in circulation.

The expansion unlocks lending and borrowing markets using cbBTC as collateral, cbBTC liquidity pools on Robinhood Chain DEXs, and Bitcoin-denominated vaults, yield strategies, and derivatives, with value transfer between Base and Robinhood Chain bridged via CCIP. Through the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard, cbBTC operates across chains as a natively interoperable token, keeping the same developer experience and security guarantees.
