PancakeSwap's CAKE Tokenomics 3.0 proposal has successfully passed the community vote. The approved changes include:
- Increased CAKE burn rate targeting ~4% annual deflation
- Reduced CAKE emissions for ecosystem efficiency
- Retirement of CAKE Staking, veCAKE, Gauges Voting, and Revenue Sharing systems
The proposal evolved through multiple stages of community feedback and discussion since April 8th. These changes aim to create a more sustainable and deflationary model for CAKE.
