Binance has released its latest Proof of Reserves update, showing a Bitcoin reserve ratio of 103.50%.
This means Binance holds slightly more Bitcoin than customer deposits require, demonstrating the exchange maintains adequate reserves to cover user funds.
- The 103.50% ratio indicates Binance has 3.5% excess Bitcoin reserves
- This follows similar transparency efforts by other major exchanges
- Kraken previously reported a higher 114.9% BTC reserve ratio in May
Proof of Reserves has become a standard practice for exchanges to build trust after industry upheavals. The reports provide cryptographic proof that exchanges hold sufficient assets to meet withdrawal demands.
The update reinforces Binance's commitment to transparency and user fund safety in the current regulatory environment.
