Avalanche Foundation introduces Gross Chain Income metric

The Avalanche Foundation introduced a new on-chain economic metric called Gross Chain Income (GCI), positioned as the blockchain equivalent of a country's GDP for measuring the Avalanche economy. It is described as a natural extension of the network's existing GCP (Gross Chain Product) framework, aimed at capturing new sources of value generated on the chain.
