CryptoPunks Enables Direct USDC Purchases Through EIP-7702

Node Foundation has integrated stablecoin payments for CryptoPunks using Ethereum's EIP-7702 upgrade. The implementation allows buyers to purchase NFTs directly with USDC in a single transaction. **Key Details:** - Purchases now require only one wallet action instead of multiple steps - The original CryptoPunks smart contract remains unmodified - Implementation leverages EIP-7702's account abstraction capabilities This marks a practical application of EIP-7702, which enables temporary code execution from externally owned accounts. The upgrade simplifies the traditional approve-then-transfer flow that previously required two separate transactions. The integration maintains the integrity of the original 2017 CryptoPunks contract while adding modern payment functionality through Ethereum's latest protocol improvements.
