The Danube Bridge, Alephium's cross-chain communication solution, is scheduled to launch on mainnet on July 15th at 12:00 GMT+2. This infrastructure will enable seamless asset transfers between Ethereum and Alephium networks, supporting: - Cross-chain token bridging - Integration with DEXes - NFT marketplace compatibility The bridge implementation uses a lock & mint mechanism, built on a modified Wormhole framework.
Danube Network Upgrade Goes Live Tomorrow on Mainnet
The Danube network upgrade is set to launch on Mainnet July 15, 2025 at 12:00 GMT+02:00. Latest releases include Desktop Wallet v3.0.3 and Mobile Wallet v2.2.1 with Chained Transactions support and UTXO consolidation fixes. Explorer v1.10.15 improves transaction calculations for Groupless Addresses. Backend team released v3.0.4 with performance enhancements. Public nodes have been upgraded and verified for Danube compatibility. Node operators must update to v4.0.0 before launch.
